What is this?
A quick way for people walking in Pittsburgh to report what makes getting around on foot dangerous: drivers who don't stop, speed, or park where people walk, and sidewalks you can't use. No account needed.
- A public map. Every report shows up on the map right away, so anyone can see the patterns on a street or corner, including neighbors, the city, and people pushing for safer streets.
- Sent to the right place. We work out who's responsible for the street (City 311, or PennDOT for state roads) and write up the report for you. For now you send it yourself, by email or by pasting it into their form.
- Your privacy. No name or account. The public map shows what happened, when, and roughly where: each point is moved up to about 35 meters, so a report from your doorstep doesn't show your house. Your own words stay off the map. If you email 311, it comes from your email address, like any email.
